Chocolate & Vanilla Marble Nice Cream Slice (raw, vegan, gf)

Leaning tower of goodness right here.. If you like ice cream cake, then dayam, you'll like these. It's like a brownie mixed with vanilla and chocolate ice cream/chocolate mousse. You can even make it into one big birthday cake if you want. Enjoy this recipe guys!

 

 

 

 

Chocolate & Vanilla Marble Nice Cream Slice

(raw, vegan, gf)

 


Ingredients


Brownie Base:
1 cup dates (if hard soak for a few minutes in hot water)
3/4 cup walnuts 
3 tbsp cacao powder 
Pinch of pink himalayan salt


Blend all ingredients in a food processor. Press down into a parchment paper lined cake or bread tin and place in the freezer while you make the next layer.

Cashew Vanilla Cream:
1 cup soaked cashews (soak for at least 4 hours)
1/3 cup vanilla (or original) coconut yoghurt (I used CO YO)
2 tbsp maple syrup
Dash of plant based milk 


Blend all ingredients in food processor until smooth. Spread evenly over base layer and place back in the freezer while you make the final chocolate mousse layer.

Chocolate Mousse:
1 ripe avocado 
4 tbsp cacao powder 
3 tbsp coconut yoghurt 
4-5 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp plant based milk

You know the drill.. Blend in food processor. Poor on top of the cashew cream layer. Use a skewer or something to make the ripple effect (I used a chopstick). Place back in the freezer until hardened.
 Cut into slices and store in a container in the freezer.
