CoCoSmile

3 Oct 2017

This picture basically says it all. CoCoSmile sells Activated Charcoal powder. Activated Charcoal is a natural teeth whitening substance. This one is Spearmint flavour. I love the spearmint flavour, it's perfect, not too strong and there is nothing gross about the overall taste.

Activated Charcoal not only helps in whitening teeth but promotes good oral health by changing the pH balance in the mouth, helping prevent cavities, bad breath and gum disease.

Ingredients list: Bentonite (Green Day), calcium carbonate, activated charcoal (Cocos Nucifera shell powder), mentha spicata*, mentha piperita*, cinnamomum zeylanicum*, mentha spicata* leaf oil, xylitol.

*Organic ingredients.

Excuse the long scientific names, they are all natural ingredients.

You can buy it online from Amazon or from their Website. Which includes this 90g tub and eco friendly 100% biodegradable charcoal bamboo brush.

Price: £24.99 but usually on sale for £12.99.

It can be hard to tell in photos but this first photo on the left is before I started using CoCoSmile and the photo on the right is after using it for 6 weeks.

Even though my teeth weren't that stained to begin with I could definitely see a difference and I could even see a difference after the first few uses.

I used it morning and night. I wet the bamboo brush and dipped it in the powder, you only need a small amount, and brushed my teeth for about 2 minutes or 1 and a half if I was feeling lazy. And then I rinsed my mouth out and brushed my teeth normally with my normal toothbrush and fluoride free toothpaste to get rid of any excess charcoal. Be careful it can be a bit messy, I noticed tiny black dots all over my bathroom wall! But it came off when cleaned. Maybe stay away from the wall when brushing.

I definitely recommend this for safe and natural teeth whitening that works!
