Sukin are a natural, sustainable and vegan skincare brand from Australia. They are also stocked in New Zealand, UK, Canada, China, Malaysia and online.
I love this brand. I switched to Sukin after wanting to find a more natural skincare range.
The skin is our biggest organ and basically soaks up anything we are putting on it. So I want to use as natural ingredients as possible. And it being an Australian brand I guess I feel more at home!
All of their products are Australian made with ingredients that are naturally derived and cruelty-free. All formulations are 100% Carbon Neutral, biodegradable and grey water safe. They are also super affordable!
Their products also contain no Sodium Lauryl Sulphates (SLS), Sodium Laureth Sulphates (SLES), Synthetic Fragrances, Harsh Detergents, Propylene Glycol, Artificial Colours, Triethanolamine, Mineral Oils, EDTA, or Parabens.
Now I don't want to pretend like I know what all of those ingredients mean.. But they sound far from natural, and to think that some companies actually use ingredients like these is kind of scary. I don't think we should even be calling them an ingredient.
Sukin sources quality ingredients including cold-pressed, solvent free oils, essential oils and 100% natural botanical extracts. They sell products for face, body and hair, and can be used by men, women and children.
I have been using four products from Sukin. But I think I will definitely invest in more in the future.
Botanical Body Wash
Key ingredients: Super Greens blend, Aloe Vera, Sesame, Rosehip, Cocoa and Shea Butter.
Price 125ml £9.99 / AUD 13.95
This body wash is nice and light and foams well so I feel I get a good overall clean from it. It smells lovely and fresh. It also leaves my skin feeling soft.
Foaming Facial Cleanser
Key ingredients: Rosehip, Avocado, Wheat Germ, Sesame.
Price: 125ml £7.95 / AUD 10.95
Nice and light on the skin. Smells fresh and foams well. It doesn't leave my skin dry like some cleansers. I use this in the shower and then use their Hydrating Mist Toner and Moisturiser after.
Hydrating Mist Toner
Key ingredients: Rosewater, Chamomile.
Price: 125ml £7.95 / AUD 10.95
I apply a couple of sprays of the Mist Toner after the shower before I apply the moisturiser. It leaves my face feeling fresh and hydrated and has that same nice, fresh smell. This product is great to take on a long-haul flight to keep your skin hydrated. You may have to find a 100ml spray bottle though to transfer some into.
Nutrient Rich Facial Moisturiser
Key ingredients: Super Greens Blend, Aloe Vera, Sesame, Rosehip, Cocoa and Shea Butter.
Price: 125ml £9.99 / AUD 13.95
This also has Acai and Goji Berry extracts which are rich in antioxidants and nutrients to assist in minimising the appearance of fine lines, and hydrating oils of Rosehip, Avocado and Jojoba to lock moisture into the skin.
My skin can tend to be dry and since using this I swear my skin hasn't seen a dry day yet. My skin feels so much more hydrated and moisturised. The moisturiser is a little rich but it soaks in the skin nicely, leaving it with a natural, light glowy look, not heavy. My skin tone also seems more even.
They also have a similar "Facial Moisturiser", which I heard is lighter, but I have been using this particular moisturiser for that extra moisture.
