Di Giovanna is a family business in Sicily, Italy that make vegan and certified organic wines, and extra virgin olive oil.
Their olive oil is light with subtle, quality flavour, great for sprinkling over salads.
They make white, rosé and red wines. I have tried their Vurria Merello Mascalese Rosato and Vurria Grillio.
Rosé description: Fragrant notes of violet, pomegranate and strawberry. It is round and soft in texture, with a mineral and savory finish.
White description: An expressive bouquet of ripe ruby red grapefruit, pineapple and herbs leads to a rich yet bright mouth-feel, a notable acidic core with notes of almonds and a savory finish.
They both smell light and fresh, and the rosé smells fruity.
Their volume is 13.5%.
They are quite dry and strong wines, especially for a rosé, but they are quite nice. So if you are into dry wine these might be more your type.
