I became tired of buying Hummus from the store even health stores that contain unhealthy oils and other additives. This recipe is super simple, healthy and so delicious! I think i'll be making my hummus from now on.
1 can of chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
2 tbsp tahini
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic granules
1 tsp onion granules
Pinch of cayenne powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Good pinch of pink himalayan salt
Pinch of cumin (optional)
1/4 cup filtered water
Blend all ingredients until it forms a smooth consistency (doesn’t have to be perfectly smooth).
Store in the fridge for up to a week.
